Behind Da Silva Hospitality

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Erasmo has learned to master the art of  the hospitality industry with hands-on experience under his father’s tutelage. Learning everything from customer service to kitchen operations to managing staff and understanding the financial side of running a business were all parts of his education; shaping a strong work ethic and sharpening skills in problem-solving and leadership. 

The group manages 11 restaurants and two business hotels in Venezuela, employing more than 900 people. In 2017, under Erasmo’s leadership, the family business expanded to the United States with the opening of Zucca in Coral Gables.  

Consistently considered one of greater Miami’s best Italian restaurants, renowned for its authentic artisan Italian cuisine, the essence of Da Silva Hospitality was imparted to a new audience, with Erasmo onsite and hands-on with all aspects of the successful project.
